Red Rock Canyon is located about 20 minutes away from Vegas strip. My dad suggested this since he's always wanted to check it out and what an amazing place!

My preference for scraps lately has been to cut squares, but sometimes strips made more sense, so this is the beginning of my next string quilt. I used up nearly all my previous scrap strips on a king-size string quilt, so this pile is not too big yet.

Found a tiny bird skull whilst in the woods in flatford, it's crazy that it's a perfect skull stripped of all flesh and bone dry.
