a drunk driver attempted to make a travel lane out of a sidewalk along the strip near mandalay bay and smartly removed a fire hydrant (and its' 8 bolts) with the bumper of his GMC yukon.
after i stripped the threads off of my rear hub on my old wheel set i ordered some parts to make this new one

Had several textured glass cabinet doors that were original to our 1920s house stripped at Architectural Antiques (who paints over glass??). Came out good as new for only $15-20 per door.

On the third night of vacation we had New York strip, mashed potatoes cooked in those cute little pots, my birthday wine and some delicious little tomatoes with basil and garlic and olive oil. And then we watched Monday Night Football!

Unique (?) to any other European city, swimming in the river is permitted,encouraged and popular. The glacial meltwater from the Alps flows through Bern in the river Aare and is normally considered too cold. In summer however,the temperate Swiss climate heats it up to a fresh 20 degrees or so, and swimming around under the medieval altstadt (old town) is a delight!
