Newsboy (bronze, 2005) by Bridgette Mongeon

This piece, depicting a Texas newsboy in period 1929 costume, was commissioned to commemorate the Texas Press Association's 125 anniversary as the body representing 500 newspapers and over 100 press associations around the state. It was originally intended for the State Capitol lawns, but now stands in front of the TPA offices on 4th street. The boy is carrying a copy of the Texas Press Messenger, the TPA's in-house journal.

But Pistachio took it in stride.
