More bear viewing during the exit from Katmai, including the 4 hours that I was caught in a 17 bear jam that prevented me from getting on to the bridge to get back to camp.

A beautiful winters day in a very late and snowy winter, 2013. It was hard to believe I had been on Helvellyn only a few days before in such cold and hard conditions. Today was incredibly warm, the visibility superb and crisp.
