The young couple striding across Boston's City Hall Plaza seem to echo the massive stride of the figure in the foreground. But the figure in the foreground isn't striding -- it's an abstraction that looks less like a person than a cross between a dinosaur and one of those fighting creatures in Star Wars. It's called Thermopylae and its sculptor was the late Dmitri Hadzi.
