Inspired by the distinctive AN Passenger livery, S317 & GM27 power through a cold, wet landscape with 1845 Kelo Freight.

Hard to believe this was 7 years ago, the turntable line ups at "Streamliners at Spencer" was pretty colorful, with all the classic noses and paint schemes May 29. 2014.
4201 and 3801 run the last shuttle 6L68 through the outskirts of Perthville. 3801 and 4201 will be running to Orange then Dubbo during the week for more shuttles.

The classic "Hula Girl" place in history coincides with that of the recognizable face of a classic EMD locomotive.
Ever since Hawaii became a popular tourist attraction in the early 1900s, the Hula Girl has been a symbol of the state of islands. Visitors to the islands would bring the souvenirs home and they began to be a common sight. Also, early hula girl dolls did not have springs to make them dance, and it is only in the 1950s when the iconic feature was added into the figures. It was also in the 1950s when American soldiers who participated in World War II brought home hula girl dolls as souvenirs and remembrance for their time in the pacific. As many of those soldiers sought employment with the railroad upon returning home, its likely that the hula girl rode on more than just the dashboard of classic Chevys.

On May 31, 2014, the North Carolina Transportation Museum hosted a Streamliners Festival where E units and F units (and streamliners from other builders) all congreated at the museum in Spencer.

Photographer's Special held in January 2026 at United States Sugar (Sugar Express) of Clewiston, Florida, featuring 4-6-2 148 restored to its late 1950s-early 1960s appearance. The first day featured 148 pulling cane cars, and the second day featured a passenger train.
Cruise Express charter 6L62, powered by the eclectic combination of 4201 and GL107,pass through Exeter Station as they journey toward Central Station, Sydney.
Having experienced better days in passenger service, C&NW 1584 is now relegated to branchline service. A semaphore in the vertical position does little to speed the progress on a line plagued with slow orders and an (as yet unknown) impending death sentence. (A Wisconsin spring with a lack of good skies have kept this GP7 out of the limelight for now. Lawn chairs are a combination of brass rod and 1/8" ribbon).
The Central West Streamliner tour to Bathurst and return climbs through the Blue Mountains with B61 leading and 4716 trailing. At Lithgow 4716 was swapped with GM10.

Privately owned 42105 in the colours of a former owners, Northern Rivers, Railroad, NSW Rail Transport Mseum government owned 4201 in special '125 Anniversary' livery, originally applied in 1980, and 4204 owned by the Lachlan Valley Railway.
