made this cabinet for a flat screen TV. Customer bought the lift and television and asked me to make something around it. Some of the panels are removable to access the wiring and cable box. Also there is space to mount a surround speaker inside.

Test roll with my Soligor f2.8 105mm lens - mounted on a Miranda D slr.
Results are very pleasing. Strangely lacking the crisp look of those taken with my Isco 100mm lens, but it may have just been morning jitteryness or that film I used was long expired.
According to the exhibitor, this is one of the first machines built by Franklin --- a real piece of history!
This stream ends in a little cove in county Kerry, Ireland. I went to visit Ireland this summer, and I highly recommend this country for landscape photographers. It is a beautiful mix of montains, cliffs, sea and changing weather with in the same day blue sky, heavy clouds and fog. An amazing country, really !
The Coppermine Trail in Fundy National Park in New Brunswick is a favorite of ours - particularly on foggy mornings.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee. This clear, slow-moving stream in a mixed Carolina Hemlock / Deciduous forest was home to an abundance of black-bellied salamanders.
An edit of a photo I took in the summer of 2006 with my then-new Canon EOS 30D DSLR and its "better" kit lens, the EF-S 17-85mm F/4-5.6 IS USM. This was my first second go with Pixelstyle Photo Editor. I used the artistic "Cartoon" artistic filter and adjusted the settings until I got something I liked. The app is neat and free(!) but it definitely updates the preview image sluggishly. One cannot have everything.
Forsee Basin ("aka John's Meadow") along the Forsee Creek trail in the San Bernardino Mountains of Southern California. Heavy snows from our last winter have left snow patches on the higher peaks as of August 1st and snow melt is still keeping the streams and springs active. Elevation here is about 7,000 feet. Photo taken around 8:30 AM on August 1st using a Canon Powershot SX20IS.
The new Stampscapes stamps include some really wonderful snowy stamps. Here I used the Snowy Brook. Love the snow covered stones and the little stream. Behind the stream I stamped trees, using three different pine tree stamps and making them smaller at the point furthest from the eye. Wipe off the lower edge of the trees before stamping, so that it looks like they are standing in, and not on top of, the snow. The scene was stamped with Jet Black ink on glossy cardstock and coloured the normal way with dye inks and a Colorbox Stylus Tool. I used mainly light inks, Aqua, Weather Vane and a little bit of Speckled Egg. At the edges I used a darker grey ink, still wanting to keep the scene pretty light. TFL!
