An edit of a photo I took in the fall of 2006. Continuing to try out Pixelstyle Photo Editor. I used the artistic "Cartoon" artistic filter and adjusted the settings until I got something I liked. The app is neat and free(!) but it definitely updates the preview image sluggishly. One cannot have everything.

It would be such a beautiful park if the budget cuts had not left them without much help and they diversified the plants and trees. It is pretty enough with mostly pines and azaleas, but feel it could be so much more.

3 exposures in RAW at +/-2ev shot with tripod, converted to TIFFs and exported to Photomatix for tonemapping and final processing in Lightroom 3.5.

I no longer have my Hassy cause it was stolen. If anyone sees picks with this light leak on it it is my camera so please let me know. I miss that camera! This was on a trip a few years ago.

A long exposure (15 secs @ f/22) shooting into the sun using a Hoya ND400 in the berber village of Imlil around 60km from Marrakech in the High Atlas Mountains.

The village is about 1740m above sea level and is the main starting base for those attempting the trek up to the summit of Jebel Toubkal, the highest mountain in North Africa (and second highest in all of Africa after Kilimanjaro I believe).

We didn't spend long there because if you are not treking there is not a whole lot to see or do. Unfortunately I hadn't noticed my Mum and Dad creep into the frame. See if you can spot them :)

I imagine this stream, the Apel Drain, in Bruce Township, Michigan has not changed much in the past 150 years.
