This is a view from the east bank of Jökulsá á Fjöllum river in northern Iceland, near the Selfoss waterfall. I was fascinated by the various flows in the scene before my eyes. The smooth texture of the clouds, vertical streams running down the cliffs and horizontal flow of the river working in unison together.
The conversion to monochrome worked very well and it is one of my favourite (if not the favourite) photos from the entire trip.

Driving along the foggy Parkway, limited visibility. I come into a clear patch and drove by this little stream.....Of course I had to turn around, get out in the rain and snap this image.
LOVE LOVE LOVE being in the woods.
Scene captured from the Bridal Veil. It sure was refreshing to be there with the mist cooling your face, but it got a little bit chilly when the sun faded away :).
Have a great Friday and a fantastic weekend my flickr friends!

A small stream runs through our university. Unfortunately after heavy rain it becomes a raging torrent and needs 3 m concrete walls to contain it. On this morning it was acting all innocent :)
At first glance
what I perceived
wasn't happenstance
fore...
he stood before me
with a smile; radiating
an inner beauty
I never phantomed
I'd have a chance to
behold.
intrigued...
I absorbed his essence;
falling in love with his mind,
as he whispered against me
the beauty of him stole my
heart.
illuminating...
the universe; harmonizing our
allurement of one another.
