Yes, we still have some snow left but now also the nights are starting to be above zero, so I think its days are numbered.

this is the Middle Saluda River in Jones Gap State Park, Greenville County, SC, after all the rain we've had over the past week.

A seepage stream flowing near the Chassahowitzka, commonly known as "The Chaz". The river is a popular boating and paddling location owing to its scenic, old-Florida splendor, and multiple springs, several of which make tremendous swimming holes. This particular creek runs into Seven Sisters Spring, a rocky set of solution holes into the aquifer that make excellent swim-throughs for adventurous visitors.

There she was just watching a show streaming on phone, while Thanksgiving was being prepared. I just saw her just sitting there observing her contently. So I had to take the picture, I even sent it to her. Barely fazed her.

I wish I could say that the colors in this Kodachrome 25 were honest, but they faded pretty good. So I jacked up the saturation a bit in CS2. This is one of my favorites only because I remember how much work it was to get including but not limited to: driving across the country on mountainous roads, up before sunrise, and hopping from boulder to boulder with a tripod while worrying I was going to drop my camera and myself into the frigid cold water. I shot this back in college on a trip to Colorado with my girlfriend. We traveled around in a tiny, front-wheel-drive Datsun F-10 wagon sometimes following dirty, rocky roads and camping out with the bears. I used a 35mm Nikkormat ELW I won in a music photography contest and put on a tripod with a wide angle lens. See it on black.

First photo of the year! It was a really cold and foggy day, and it gave me an idea for a shot. I grabbed my camera and ventured into the brook that runs past my house and really just wanted to capture the surrounding and mood of the day.

A fast flowing stream through Mt Field national park, Tasmania

A small part of a waterfall by Jonsvatnet near Trondheim in Norway. There are a lot of interesting parts to this waterfall, but it is hard getting the compositions to balance properly.

I had to take two shots and make a HDR image here. As the sun was hitting the background, and the contrast got too harsh.

This evening the clouds had a slight pinkish cast, see the next few pics.

A beautiful stream illuminated by fresh green light entertains people.

I pray that this beautiful natural environment will be protected and last forever.

Joanne and I just returned from a wonderful trip to Algonquin Park. Although peak colour was early this year, there was still a good amount of colour to enjoy. As we went during the week we missed the crowds that dominated the park on weekends.

We enjoyed some great hiking in the park. This photo was taken while on a hike on the Track and Tower trail which is a 7.5km hike that also includes a scenic lookout and an abandoned railway. We also did another hike on the Whisky Rapids trail which was very rewarding as well.
