The Muslim believers were coming during 3 days to celebrate the third largest Muslim Holiday BISWA IJTEMA. The 4 million of believers are going to this place for the celebration . After the moleben, the street is like a river, with a powerful flow of people.

This stream has been revealed because the silt in the lake is being dug out. Before it could be dug out it had to be drained - rain and snow causes little streams to appear.

Driving around the landlocked promontory Hjörleifshöfði the track was crossed by this stream of icy water that was impassable, at least in the regular 4x4 I was driving. The larger Icelandic 'super jeeps' would have been able to drive straight through. I turned around and followed the sandy trail back around Hjörleifshöfði to the main road.

As the sea retreats, the sea water returns creating beautiful streams along the beach. I found this as I took a morning stroll along Skegness beach.
