A pic from last November's trip to the magic country of Iceland. So much to see...I think another trip is in order this year Follow me on Facebook:
A long exposure of a stream.
Bit about me, I'm a 15 year old photographer, I love photographing wildlife, landscapes, pets, urban scenes, and other things that really interest me!
The water was really coming out of the Bridalveil from our recent storm. I really wanted to get a picture of the waterfall from the lookout area, but I didn't make it. The last 30 feet of the pathway was solid ice. After seeing a few people slide on their butts back down the hill, I decided my rear end wanted to stay dry and not bruised, so I turned around and went back down the hill.
I went back by the stream and took some pictures at this location. The fast moving water made for an interesting look to the stream. I put on a couple of filters and liked the look of this shot.
Chicago Creek falls, flows under highway 103 ( Squaw Pass Road ), about 10 miles from Idaho Springs. Another photo of this location that was taken in the spring is also in this gallery
I took this shot near my home in a small forest that happens to contain an amazing river. Sometimes it doesn't take a long journey to get a shot (even if it was quit ruff to get to that spot)
The peaks of New Hampshire are clouded in with no views and I'm wet and tired. There's a pinch in my hip after about 12 miles. I'm glad to be almost done and ready to be dry and eat something other than pack food. Still, I linger for a while longer at a bridge over a stream, listening to the hisses and bubbles and gurgles drowning out all other sounds. I make one more photo before it's back toward villages, waitstaff, burgers, fries and cold drinks.
This shot was taken on the Iao Stream at Iao Valley State Park in Maui.
Shot with a 10 stop ND Filter.
Many thanks to all those who take the time to view add them as favourites and comment on my photographs. It is very much appreciated.

Yet another swirling spacey abstract from the remnants of my stolen vehicle. Mostly swirl, bulge, scattered tiles, water, and solar flare filters mixed to taste using an old version of the ACDSee digital photo manipulation software.
Flying over the Nef Glacier in a door off helicopter the long thin bright blue run-off stream flowing down glacier, caught my eye. Parque National Laguna San Rafael, Aysen, Patagonia, Chile. Just another sign of the melting and retraction of the glaciers.
