Taken from Chedoke Trail Hamilton Canada

my first try at the silky running water look.

Juices squirt, juices flow

Over the rock hard stone they go

That does thrust up deep inside

Their soaking wetness, as they ride

Faster, faster, they cannot stop

The stone it shines with every drop

Of the excitement that does fly

Spurting out, as the stone thrusts high

Into the wetness, as juices flow

Joined together, wild love they sow

Don't worry. I stayed dry in the 4x4 truck though I did have some thoughts that we may get stuck in the middle.

During our cruise down the Yangtze River in China, we boarded a small touring boat (shown in this photo) and set out to explore the scenic Goddess Stream (aka Shennv Stream). The beautiful stream is located in Wushan County along the Yangtze River. between Qinshi Town and Feifeng Peak.

Chanced upon this small river or stream in north wales. I had parked up to get a photo of a 300ft rock hanging over the road, this was very rugged and mountainous terrain. Both Paul and I decided to walk along the stream on the public footpath, that was nearby. We walked a few hundred yards, the ground gradually rising and the stream, flowing faster and noisier. It soon became a raging torrent, after the heavy rainfall over the past week or so. This day was sunny with sporadic showers, the water levels had dropped by about 3ft by the time I saw the stream, even so it was still a powerful raging mass of water, very noisy, this made for some great photography. It was difficult in places with a 20ft drop onto the rocks, but I followed the stream for about 3/4 mile, finding access in a few places, along the way. What a treasure to find, will be posting more photos, in due course. Taken in Snowdonia, near Bedlegert.

Hollyford Road always offers an interesting drive and always time well spent. The weather wasn't on our side on the day, but it was a great day to putter down the road.

Water flowing in the woods. Spring is here

The frozen stream was full of patterns, so I tried to find compositions in different areas. These two photos reminded me of abstract charcoal drawings. I didn't convert these to black and white; this was as colorful as it got.

A tributary to the Merced River winds its way through the Yosemite Valley on a cold winter day in California's Sierra Mountains.

When light becomes optimum, we may reach out

to the steady stream no doubt

cold as it may be, the opuscule journey

is keynote to nature's indelible power of attorney

over the rites of Spring, our signature tune

for hope over the attire of the unreasoned full moon

glimmering in reflected glory despite vortical challenge

of every strenuous contortion in psychedelic allonge

a Dali clockface slipping by in surrealist memoir

or an Impressionistic dream By the Water a-la-Renoir

we are left in a trance, truncated from reality no doubt

a journeying vision ebbs through our very senses devout

clinging to Nature is now a choice apart

distance measured from society's truculent black art

in trust with light, entertained by resources a plenty

music the only additive needed as emotives are many

such is this efficacious moment now streaming-by

for eclectic complexioned reflections, are no cosmetic shadow by-the-bye

no indeed not, this is Nature's very own compelling autograph;

a preface to the climate of life in Her environmentally-friendly bibliograph

Long exposure, Lee Little Stopper

Natures tears, see them fly

Out from the depths of the hidden eye

See them ride the waves and flow

Along the stream, watch them go

Swimming the waters and stones that lie

Deep in the depths of the hidden eye
