Looking down from a bridge over Kaiwharawhara stream in Otari-Wilton Bush in Wellington. I did this walk to use up time before my son-in-law and our grandson came home. Fortunately not wasted time when you have a camera hungry to make photos :)

This black bear caught a salmon and is heading to the woods to eat. The mouth of this stream empties in to a large bay.

The little streams of the mountains please me more than the sea.

The weather is changing again here in New England. Unseasonably warm temps mid week changed today with light snow all day followed with clearing just in time for a beautiful sunset on the drive home from work.

Its got to be Large

I am hoping to shoot some creeks like this with snow on top of the boulders

I only missed it here by two days last year

If I was travelling alone I would be tempted to head straight to the snow as we expecting over half a meter of fresh snow by friday night

Beautiful silky stream with fall leaf color in the Great Smoky Mountains

This is to the left of a shot that I published two days ago. To get from this spot to the shot two days ago was only a matter of about 10 feet but when your my age it was an adventure.
