This cute semi-feral cat came along in search of food. She has a U-shaped cut in both ears - I guess she was caught and neutered by the local shelter. She has a white and a black foreleg, and I named her Picasso.

So this started as a joke shot that was way over-exposed for me to consider using originally. Once I started playing with color trying to save it, I ended up really liking it.
The sun was perfectly inline and almost setting down the stream. One of the members joked about them all getting in the water for the last photo and everyone called his bluff. You shouldn't be doing that in November in Ohio.

Adorable puppies born to a stray dog at Gorukana resort busy playing with each other. There were five of them, and the other was busy 'exploring' all places, climbing over rocks and stairs.
Once these little chaps took notice of me, couple of them continued playing and two approached me, and started playing with my sandals and vigorously pulling my jeans.

These two bundles turned up during tropical storm Jerry last week, bedraggled, hungry and mewing appealingly, we dried them off and fed them and guess what- they are still here getting stronger by the minute, ah well !!! They better join the other 3 that makes 4 gingers and 1 tortoiseshell!

He is a stray cat which has been visiting the Wild Garden in West Wales on quite a regular basis and has spent most of his time there. He's been cared for as much as his wildlife allows and that is respected by all inhabitants of the Wild Garden.
Some weeks ago he disappeared all of the sudden - the Royal Arrival was missed and we feared the worst. But then - as suddenly as he had disappeared he came back - at least for a meal before he disappeared again. It was an irregular coming and going but now he seems to be back and spends much time here again.
Welcome back, Pussy Cat it is so nice to have you back !

(press L… after reading below!)
I first thought up concept a couple of years ago when the circus came to my local park as it does every year, thinking of shooting something related to the whimsical old stories and songs of running away to join the circus. I never got round to shooting it then, but when I shot a wedding this summer which had this amazing yurt in the park near the reception venue, I knew I had to try and get this concept done when I was next in Nottingham (and today just happened to be that day).
Whilst I was editing this though, I thought more about how strange the idea of running off to join the circus would be - as if it's something actually people do - but of course people DO run away in general. In the UK, around 100,000 children under 16 run away every year, and four out of five do it to get away from abuse or violence they've experienced at home. So perhaps for some, running away to the circus wouldn't sound like the worst idea after all.

P.S. on a lighter note to finish things off - this overall image includes photos I've taken in Nottingham, Stockport, Southampton and the Peak District ;) try and work that one out!
