Vertical panorama taken from Ski Hill Rd overlooking Breckenridge Colorado. The dwellings and tiny figures looked like a toy set from this view.

By Corrado Giaquinto, from 1744, "The Virgin presents St Helena and Constantine to the Trinity".

Geez, the shot glass looks more like a dose cap from a Pepto Bismol bottle. Star fan LED pulled background in broad daylight with ND. Stocking up on "minis" for the bar. If it tastes good and I get enough requests, then maybe I get the fifth.

i'm wearing tarte matte pencil in fiery. i think the color is ok. i'm just not convinced that it looks all that great. i guess it would help if i fixed the rest of my face. heh.

on the other hand, i LOVE LOVE these sunglasses. If i'm going to run around with red lips, i feel better hiding behind the shades.

looking up from beneath one of the turbines at Kelburn wind farm. I expected them to be noisier but the wind was not that strong

Squamishphoto suggested a monochrome version of this shot and here it is.

"“And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies, I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer.” The Great Gatsby, F Scott Fitzgerald

Saw Baz Lurhmann's excellent The Great Gatsby tonight in 2D at the GFT. Stylish, no doubt gimmicky but so faithful to the spirit of the book, which has long been a huge favourite of mine. Tobey Maguire is perfect as Nick, the hero-worshipping go-between, but the rest of the leads are good too. Fab :)

Took this while walking to the train. I liked the way the early morning sun was hitting it. Little did I know it would prove to be the perfect image to summarize my day.

Another doozy at the work place. Another emergency project with impossible deadlines. Lots of hurry up and wait. Do and redo thanks to changed minds. Just banging my head against the wall in frustration as I try to bend the laws of physics and get it all done in the time allotted without losing my sanity.

Still just me. Just a little more tired.

I took this shot of three redwood trees while at the Grandfather Tree stop, off of Hwy 101 in the redwood national forest in Northern California.

This is Cedar Point's scariest ride, called the Top Thrill Dragster. And Cedar Point is world renowned for its roller-coasters. This one actually goes straight up, over the loop (the upside-down U), then comes back to earth straight-down.

I'm not overly afraid of roller-coasters usually, but I did not try this one. It's not worth risking a heart attack, or injuring my fragile back.

Can't even see the pins!
