OMGoodness! Sid wants to buy these two tiny cabins on the Buffalo River in middle Tennessee. They are the cutest little things - like single wide trailers with wood siding, stone foundations and decks. He wants to buy both of them so that we can actually have guests since they each have one bedroom, one bath, little kitchen, little living room, nice big porche. Cabin #1 has the little deck overlooking the river and a cute storage building...and lots of birdhouses. How do I talk him out of this?

And yep, this really is my storage space. All this sits in a large plastic box, and because of the lack of space as you can see, I've got all my remote controls tucked away in there as well! The plastic bags are a form of ordering. Basically, the large plastic fishing box holds most of my findings, the cleaning gear etc, and all of the beads are in the biscuit boxes stacked next to it. I'm in the midst of a re-organisation, as the dear brother is busy stuffing mother with ice cream (actually restraining her from eating the stuff is a bigger problem!) so I can have the ice cream boxes to put single colours of beads into. I used to keep them in plastic bags, but they got old, and frankly my stock increased way beyond the capacity of any size of plastic bag to restrain...

When planing out my room I knew I needed to supplement the little closet and storage room I would have while taking up as much vertical space as possible. The Ikea Kullen was my first choice since it matched the bed. But i opted for this Home Depot wardrobe since it was a little cheaper and easier to acquire. After dragging the parts up 3 flights of stairs and finally assembling, I almost immediately started noticing the low quality. At least the Ikea would have looked nicer. Still, the wardrobe has grown on me and I've made th best of it. Thankfully theres white trim all around the room to at least match it's color. More shelves would have been nice.
