Terminal Storage warehouse complex at 110 West Seeboth Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Photo taken January 2004. A major reconstruction / addition was starting to convert the complex into condominiums. The exterior is almost unrecognizable now.
One of the small bedrooms in my house was remodeled by us to hold all of the small parts. All the design work was done by my wife with the exception of the decision to use the sterite drawers and their arrangement, and (as you will see in other images) the brick crown molding, which I conceived and executed.
The work on this room (and all of our Lego Storage even areas not shown) was completed between mid Feb and mid May 2012.

This DIY chest of drawers takes up a very small floor area but has a huge amount of storage
I've been short of storage so I decided to make a multiple drawer unit mainly to store my tools and other small bits and pieces.
Most drawers you buy are too deep and you end up either with half empty drawers or drawers stuffed with thinngs on top of each other so it's difficult to find things.
With that in mind the unit has mainly thin drawers. There are four 5 cm deep drawers, Three 7 cm deep drawers and one 10 cm drawer.
The drawers are 44 cm wide and 53 cm long. The unit stands 59 cm tall.
The drawer have 1/4 plywood bases and pine fronts/sides/backs.
The main structure of the unit is MDF
The whole unit took 2 hours to make.
I haven't put a top on the unit yet

Another whole roll (minus the one wasted shot when I hit the shutter button) of film. This time it's Ilford HP5. I like the film but hate the curl, loading it into the V700 holder.
HP5+ is great. Too bad it's annoying to load into the V700 holders.
Installing a new storage node at the datacenter this afternoon. Guts are nice, very clean. I like the cooling.
Went with work to check out a newly build storage area for books, magazines and papers. They were strating to move in stuff when we were there - quite interesting
Everyone needs storage and this place has it. In addition to one downstairs bedroom with built-in shelves for your gear and seasonal supplies, there's tons of room under the stairs too.
I designed and built a box for things I use every day, like cosmetics, hair straightener and makeup brushes. It is made of birch and the lid for the lower part is Perspex. I think I still need to apply some oil on it for protection.
