This year I'm growing: Copra, Zeppelin, Stuttgarter and Red Baron as my main storage onions. I'm also growing Forum as a early maturing cooking onion. I'm trying onions from seed, from sets and from plants to see which one stores the best.
Etobicoke, Ontario. Koni Omega Rapid M, 90mm Hexanon f3.5, Ilford XP-2 Super 400, med. yellow filter. This is from the first roll I've put through the Koni.
One of the small bedrooms in my house was remodeled by us to hold all of the small parts. All the design work was done by my wife with the exception of the decision to use the sterite drawers and their arrangement, and (as you will see in other images) the brick crown molding, which I conceived and executed.
The work on this room (and all of our Lego Storage even areas not shown) was completed between mid Feb and mid May 2012.
Since we have a kid on the way we've decided to finish 2/3 of the basement. The rest will be used for storage and working out. I started by cleaning the basement, applying 2 coats of Drylok on the walls (we've never had an issue with water, but I'd rather be safe), and finally built these shelves. They are made with 2x3's and 7/16" OSB. I have about 6 hours into building the shelves, and I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. I'll start framing the basement this weekend.
Starting in October 2012, the second ARM Mobile Facility (AMF2) was deployed on the Horizon Lines cargo ship Spirit for the year-long Marine ARM GPCI1 Investigation of Clouds (MAGIC) campaign, traveling between Los Angeles, California, and Honolulu, Hawaii. The purpose of the deployment was to understand and parameterize clouds, precipitation, aerosols and radiation, and the interactions among them.

A gas storage tank in Ayr.
What a disappointing day. I haven't used the camera at all this year, thanks to the miserable weather and the long, dark nights. I only see daylight at the weekends just now, and they've mostly been the miserable, cold, rainy, grey days Scotland specialises in.
Today, I went out, buoyed by the bright blue cloudless sky, but by the time I'd reached the west coast there were grey clouds and crappy light again. Pffft. Driving through Ayr I spotted this old gas storage tank and thought I'd try a few shots; something about the lines and curves, and the stripe of rust must have grabbed me. This was the most interesting composition. Still, if I hadn't been absent for the last 6-7 weeks I'm not sure I'd have bothered posting.
An example of why people should buy stuff with exacting specifications. The proportions are way off, the doors and the frameworks have been made using different materials, and the shelving has been modified to house the TV. Yuck!

Made using the tutorial from 'Film in the Fridge'. I can see these becoming a replacement for the drawstring bags. So easy to make and really useful.

Wooden water storage tanks are no longer contemporary but many, like this one, are still in use today. This tank, located on a coastal farm near the town of Half Moon Bay in northern California (see www.flickr.com/photos/greatestpaka/4364813592/ ), provides for the storage of water for farming and livestock as well as many other needs. The wood used in this tank may be Western Red Cedar or Redwood. Still maintaining its original function, the well aged wood planks and circular red hoops provide a beautiful texture and pattern for this photograph.

A warm and VERY windy day!
On Wednesday I went to my storage facility to try to retrieve my passport and birth certificate from the jumble of boxes there.
Not an attic but a storage room of some sort in the Warner Brothers Drapery Department. We passed it on our way to see the Central Perk set from the old Friends TV show, which is in this building.

All clientele-ish machines. The two HPs there are just shells, no innerds. The Acer laptop there is a client's, the Dell 6000 is mine but is broken. My main laptop is the one on the stand.
The RNMD Milford Haven is a decommissioned Royal Naval Mine Depot in Milford Haven, West Wales. The site was closed in the early 1980's, and was subsequently purchased by Gulf Oil, although the company never made any use of it.
These photographs, taken in July 2013, showcase the buildings as they stand today.
Inspiration for some of the framing of the shots came from the 1975 New Topographics exhibition.
Next to the horse stables is the storage room. Here, we have many ropes, cruppers, and reins (hanging on the wall in the center) which are attached to the saddle on the horse and are used for riding. The saddles are piled up on the left and right of the photo.

Billy Bookcase likes to hoard junk from life. He excels at this by maximising space and allowing a range of different objects to share his shelves. Billy rocks!
