This group of support structures handles secondary information, which highlights the location of homeless services within a five block walking distance. Therefore, if one is in immediate need these nodes will locate the nearest place of shelter, protection, or instruction. These support structures also offer a place for non-profit organizations to display their ads to the general public. Placed within the many void areas throughout the city, storage and boundary SHIMS patch and maintain the existing urban fabric. The amenities offered by these structures vary greatly depending on local context and need, which range from simple storage to coffee and newsstands.

My husband is at it again! He was asked if he could make a copic marker storage unit, and he was up to the task. This unit is perfect for Sketch Style copics. He also can make it for the original style copic markers as well. We don't own copics (YET!) but he seems to be really interested in them. I might have to get some myself, because, well, I like this unit and I think it will look great lined up on a shelf in my art room! Painted white, of course.

Research at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) includes development of materials and batteries for stationary energy storage applications, as well battery testing, as shown in this photo. With growing national and international interest in clean, sustainable energy, stationary energy storage will be vital to adding renewables (wind and solar power, etc.) to the power grid, and perhaps even to making the smart grid a reality.

Public Storage, 9/2014, by Mike Mozart of TheToyChannel and JeepersMedia on YouTube

A hard disk drive (HDD) is a data storage device that uses magnetic storage to store and retrieve digital information using one or more rigid rapidly rotating disks (platters) coated with magnetic material.

The platters are paired with magnetic heads, usually arranged on a moving actuator arm, which read and write data to the platter surfaces.

Data is accessed in a random-access manner, meaning that individual blocks of data can be stored or retrieved in any order and not only sequentially.

Typical storage boxes contain your items, but the inside becomes cluttered – making it difficult to find what you need. Rubbermaid’s Bento collection is designed to organize items, rather than just store them. The Bento Boxes have internal flex dividers, which enable you to divide the space by creating unique sections when needed. Boxes can stack vertically, or fit inside each other. Bento Toppers can act as trays, covers or lids, providing an extra layer of organization for the Bento Boxes, or hiding what’s inside. The Bento Collection is made from sturdy materials, and the heavy-duty decorative fabric enables it to remain out in your social spaces while complementing your home’s décor.

These shelves show the variety of yarn we have on hand. The storage bins and cardboard boxes on the top shelf store skeins of emergency yarn and cones of yarn that wont yet fit on the shelves. The storage bin on the right holds the whole craft supply stash- beads, pipecleaners, found objects for kinders, woodsie shapes and craft sticks. (no googly eyes or glitter;)While I rarely use these items, I frequently have classroom teachers asking for them and they come in handy.

Knossos is the largest bronze age archaeological site on Crete and is considered Europe's oldest city.

The palace of Knossos was undoubtedly the ceremonial and political centre of the Minoan civilization and culture. It appears as a maze of workrooms, living spaces, and storerooms close to a central square.

The area was first settled about 7000BC and abandoned after siesmic tremmors around 1380–1100 BC.

In the first palace period around 2000 BC the urban area reached a size of up to 18,000 people. In its peak the Palace and the surrounding city boasted a population of 100,000 people shortly after 1700 BC.

My project for the day. Put together a set of storage cabinets for Jack, from several different kits. Painted cabinets with magnetic primer and chalkboard paint so he can draw on them. Attached chalkboard labels to the storage bins for an added touch.

Description: View looking southeast from South Chicago Avenue from just north of the intersection with South Baltimore Avenue, towards cargo handling and storage facilities along the Calumet River. Concrete storage silos are visible on the left behind the viaduct. To their right are utility poles and overhead cranes, and next to that, part of the Chicago Skyway is visible. A gas storage tank (gas holder) is at the far right side of the photograph. Part of the United Steelworkers Union Local 65 office building (9350 South Chicago Avenue, now home to the Power Circle Congregation) is visible in front of it.

Self Storage Units, Danbury, CT. by Mike Mozart of TheToyChannel and JeepersMedia on YouTube.

This is a home made storage binder for Filofax pages. It uses some thin card, cut to be slightly larger than the page sizes, with a bigger margin down one side, which is punched to match the holes in the leaves, and then folded over.

The metal fastener is like the ones you get in plastic presentation folders, and its arms are flexible and bend flat once you've got the pages inside.

Just one of my storage places. I love being able to see it but still have it behind glass. 90% is thrifted/reclaimed fabric.
