Found these ceramic garden stools at the garden centre of the grocery store down the road. They were regular $30.99 marked down to $15.99. They had white, black and baby blue. I have such an urge to go back and buy all the ones they had left. These are kind of boring though. I love the designs most of them have, but then, those aren't usually $15.99.
This is a stool I've been working on the last few weeks. My goal is to assemble a stool together using thermoforming, and through this, eliminate the need for fasteners. By using what would normally be considered "consequences" of vacuum-forming, the undercuts and trapping of wood add to it's structure.

Stool is made out of layers of industrial felt and epoxy resin, lined on the inside with a thin cherry veneer.

the "crooked" design was born out of a mistake. i mis-cut the original arch so rather than scrap it, i just let the band saw take over.

Wood Working: Every piece of this stool was hand-carved/sanded separately then glued together at the end. This was one of the most laborious projects I have ever completed, but it serves as one of the most useful.
Paying a bit of homage to classic icon of steet art, and giving my little milking stool a bit of a pimp up too.
The stool is about 30 cm square and a bit less than that high.
