The farmhouse where Stonewall Jackson was brought after being shot by friendly fire. His arm was amputated and he was doing well bt then contracted pneumonia.

I guess hiking for about 2 miles in the opposite direction before finding this waterfall was worth it! HAH!
Stonewall Cemetery is located on part of a plot given as a burial site by General Lewis Lawrence Griffin when he founded Griffin in 1840. Several hundred Confederates and one Union soldier, casualties of the Battle of Atlanta and Jonesboro, from the hospital at old Synodical College and the battlefields, are buried here.
I just started a new job at Stonewall Kitchen and one of the employee benefits is being able to bring home one jar of jam or jelly that has been rejected by the QC department. Nothing at all wrong with the product. The reasons for rejection are varied.
There may be a scratch on the cap, the label may be crooked or there is a visible space between the top of the jam in the jar and the lid. This is called a "low fill"... the jars should all be filled to the top with no space visible!
There is a "Reject Rack" in the kitchen and every day, we are allowed to take one jar from the rack home! Each day there are different products, like the jars in this photo. I used to buy these jams and jellies! Now I don't have to.
One of the best employee benefits I have ever had!

The monument to Confederate General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson at Mannasas, Virginia. It was here, during the First Battle of Bull Run, that the nickname "Stonewall" was given to Jackson by another general.
