Photographed last summer in the Mount Adams Wilderness, Washington State. I finally took time to stitch a few photos together to make the panorama. The heart of the Goat Rocks Wilderness, including PCT from about Elk Pass to Cispus Pass are visible. The Old Snowy, Ives and Gilbert Peaks are visible. IMG_6685

I have a red table runner that has lovely, gold thread embroidery on it. Very festive.This is one of many macro shots I took of it. I added a 'glow' effect to this one called deep forest.

After discussing needlework with a friend, I chose this for today’s photo. It’s a cross stitch kit that I completed in 1997 & had framed. The picture is very like my cat Misty that I had then.
yeah!! it is all stitched, and ready to be put in a quilt. just trying to decide on which pattern would really help this stand out in a mini quilt. any suggestions?

It's on the baseball cap I'm wearing in the little round photo on the left of my name.
Garment makers like to make stitching invisible, so I struggled to find any garments where the colour of the thread did not match the colour of the garment. But in the end I came across this stitching by which the collar of a cycling jersey was attached - white on black with bits of yellow and red.
Olympus 60mm lens with 26mm of extension tubes.
