Vegetable was one of the subjects of conversation during Rika’s friends’ visit. Rika remarked, “I had not been eating home cooked vegetables lately.” And I looked at her while I was recalling the events we had during the last week of December 2006. Before I spoke, a friend suggested, “Let’s look at the Flickr photos for evidence.” [Flickr is a sure way to find out whether I have been cooking or not :)] Anyway, the number of outings we had as a family and individually was a good answer to her why her mum had not been cooking~
Drove to Starved Rock, out of boredom, and was met by this peaceful scene along the Illinois River outside of Ottawa.

Supine on the couch, this is what the surgical waiting area looks like at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston after a few anxious hours.
This spinach is a healthy vegetable dish. The stir-frying was done with extra virgin olive oil & fish sauce.
finally, in what might be my last NH spring, I found maidenhair fern in the wild. It wasn't that far along, being a cold spring, but I found this curled beauty. OM 90mm at probably f4.
I love posting on Flickr and will continue to comment on great work when I see it.
