Understand - through the stillness
Act - out of the stillness
Conquer - in the stillness
"In order for the eye to perceive color, it must divest itself of all colors."
- From Markings by Dag Hammarskjold
Back to simplicity. Which doesn't come easy, because there is always the tendency to express moments in complex ways. Unwilling to edit out. To let each moment's stillness speak simply. This is one of my puny attempts at simplicity.

Neither flesh nor fleshless;
neither from nor towards;
at the still point,

another imaginative contribution to a walking trail; this second one is on the west side of the park at the base of a large tree.
Tea is a complete act in its simplicity.
When I drink tea, it's just me and tea.
The rest of the world dissolves.
I don't worry about the future.
I don't dwell on the mistakes of the past.
The tea is simple: loose tea, hot, pure water, and a cup.
I inhale the scent, small delicate pieces of the tea float above the cup.
I drink tea, the essence of the leaves becomes part of me.

Thank you for your previous comments. I hadn't planned to post anything, but felt inspired by Macro Monday's "Edge" theme today. Surely still feel edgy!
This is a long section of 'wallboard cap molding' from which one can hang framed art without punching extra holes in wood or wallboard.
The right side is 19.05mm in height. I bounced an SB800 speedlight against a semi-reflective warm surface. Balanced the molding on two glass salt and pepper shakers, hence a few bokeh balls.

Thanks for your comments. I read them all gratefully.
Would this look edgier in B&W?
