Some places the walls between the worlds are thin. The space between the 'verse you know and one that you could only dream is thinner than the leaves of your favourite book.So what are you waiting for? Turn the page.... and walk right in.You never know what magic you will find.
Aloha kākou! Hello, all! We're back in The Wylde to take a look at a few more lovely landscaping pieces that I've picked up at Fantasy Faire 2024.
The showpiece here is the most amazing storybook with stairs from HopScotch, called Into the Fairy Tale. I really love the sense of whimsy, the sense of magic, the sense of possibilities. You can find their store at the Faire at Avalon.
There are two more beautiful trees here from *Thus Magic*, available at Fantasy Faire at their Faire store at Avalon. The Fantasy Spring Tree has beautiful red and purple foliage, while the Fantasy Bird Tree has many lovely birds perched in its branches. They're both lovely little accent pieces that give a different kind of life to your woods. And the beautiful flower patches in all shots are Puff Flowers from MB Landscaping (Faire store at Hope's Wish), available in a host of different colours.
All of these pieces are on display in The Wylde, and you're more than welcome to stop by and take a look at them. And then, after Faire, come back and explore the rest of the Wylde, and while you're at it, visit The Nightgarden. Both are places to share and enjoy. And if you're interested, I do contract out for sim landscaping along those lines. Send me a message if that interests you.
A hui hou kākou! I will see you around the Faire!

The Stepping Stones - Boxhill
I shot this in Spring and promised to come back for Autumn. Here it is, if snow arrives in Winter I may be back here again. :-)
Filou on his way from the porch into the garden. He plans every step carefully and it can take him a while to finally reach the garden. As he panics easily a single strange noise sends him rushing back into the house, so garden visits aren't really a relaxed affair for him yet.
One of the reasons for obtaining a wide angle 6x9 is to be able to make quality panoramas, without breaking the bank.
These stepping stones are here for hundreds of years, allowing pelgrim to visit Cluny and other monasteries in Burgundy.

High tide at Le Hocq, Jersey Channel Islands, creates a stepping stone path to a small rocky island just off the coast.
That wonderful moment of stepping into a skirt, pulling it up your legs and zipping it up. Then wiggling it to make sure all is straight and where it should be. Still feels great after all these years.
