A closeup view of the London Eye.
The London Eye (also known as the Millennium Wheel), at a height of 135 metres (443 ft), is the biggest Ferris wheel in Europe, and has become the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom, visited by over three million people in one year. At the time it was erected it was the tallest Ferris wheel in the world, until it was surpassed by the Star of Nanchang (160 m) in May 2006, and then the Singapore Flyer (165 m) on 11 February 2008. However, it is still described by its operators as "the world's tallest cantilevered observation wheel" (because the entire structure is supported by an A-frame on one side only).
The London Eye is located at the western end of Jubilee Gardens, on the South Bank of the River Thames in London, England, between Westminster Bridge and Hungerford Bridge.

Partial view of a glass dome conservatory along with the large metal supertrees in the Gardens by the Bay in the marina area, these rising above the natural trees in the garden. The metal bridges between the supertrees is visible in this photo along with people on these metal connections. Gardens by the Bay is the newest tourist attraction of Singapore, and was meant to increase the amount of greenery in the city, trying out a concept called "City in a Garden", rather than being a "Garden City". It provides more green space in the city, a major attraction, as well as being a large outdoor space. The park spans 250 hectares, reclaimed land, next to the Marina Reservoir. Once fully completed, there will be 3 components - Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden and Bay Central Garden.
Some of the more prominent structures inside the Gardens are the Supertrees and the Conservatories (the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest). The Flower Dome is larger than the Cloud Forest, having a size of 3 acres and will display plants that are typically found in the Mediterranean and similar regions while the Cloud Forest has a size of 2 acres and is meant to display plants that are found in tropical mountain regions (with a height between 1000 and 3000 meters above sea level). The Supertrees are the incredible tree like structures that act like vertical gardens and host exotic species of plants such as ferns, orchids and vines.
This building has it's front on Cambridge St and was built in 1868 opposite the John Lewis department store. This existing building has this rear wall exposed as part of a renewal plan. A new supporting steel frame (in grey) is seen at front. The old timber roof structure can be seen right at the top. Existing old steel beams can be seen in red.

🇬🇧 A look at the construction progress of the new sports hall for OBC Bemmel at the De Heister location. The vertical steel columns have been installed – a key milestone in the structural phase. The blend of steel, concrete, and reflections in the rainwater gives this moment a striking visual character.
Well, forcast said sunny, weather looked sunny, so went down the road with my tripod and camera, found the playground was totally empty, excellent! I thought, got my tripod out and got everything set up and then about 2 seconds later started Raining. British weather sucks!. anyway this is the local playground, nice innit.
