Stay home Stay safe

Victoria August 10. Lockdown, again.

Staying home and birding in the backyard :)

And the people stayed home. And read books, and listened,

and rested, and exercised, and made art, and played games,

and learned new ways of being, and were still.

And listened more deeply. Some meditated, some prayed, some danced.

Some met their shadows. And the people began to think differently.

And the people healed.

And, in the absence of people living in ignorant,

dangerous, mindless, and heartless ways, the earth began to heal.

And when the danger passed,

and the people joined together again,

they grieved their losses, and made new choices,

and dreamed new images,

and created new ways to live and heal the earth fully,

as they had been healed.

With heartfelt and genuine thanks for your kind visit. Have a beautiful day, be well, keep your eyes open, appreciate the beauty surrounding you, enjoy creating, stay safe, and laugh often! ❤️❤️❤️

Not going abroad has a lot of advantages I am planning a summer tour to all my favorite places. This is one of them.

I hope everyone stay home and in a healthy condition.

took this from my garden as I am still in self quarantine as everyone !

Please take care !

My Stay @ Home period will have me digging deep into my archives this year as travel will be altered. This throwback from South Texas is of one of my favorite species from down there. Hidalgo County, TX.

Hamburg - staying home is a priviledge for those that have homes. Those that need to work to survive and those on the streets are not that lucky. Do they get support?

I changed my garden to spring mood.

Day 19 — Stay Home, Stay Healthy!

We get pretty familiar with the deer that share space with us. We often see them from their very first wobbly days. Something I wouldn’t have seen if I hadn’t stayed home to reduce the spread of covid-19.

Stay home but don't forget to enjoy the beauty around you.

Please be careful about your health

When you don't want 'James' to drive you in the Limo, but rather grabbed the keys to the......ultimate in personal transportation for two in 1934, the ultra rare, ultra expensive Packard Twelve 1106 LeBaron Runabout Speedster. One of only 4 speedsters produced, and all 4 survive. No rumble seat so Mom has to stay home. With it's short wheel base, light body and smooth and Powerful V-12, it was a formidable sports car in it's day.

Built from 1933 to 1939, the Packard Twelve has a long-standing reputation as one of America’s finest automobiles. Among Packard Twelve models, perhaps none is more revered than the Model 1106 LeBaron Runabout Speedster. Call it a halo car or a factory hot rod, since both terms apply to the Model. Priced from $7,746, (over 3 times the $2245 cost of the Auburn boat-tailed speedster) the sleek boattail convertible was the most expensive automobile in Packard’s 1934 product line, selling for more than the average new home ($5,970), or roughly five times the average American annual wage. Built upon the 135-inch wheelbase of the Packard Super Eight, the 1106 was powered by the brand’s 445-cu.in. L-head V-12, rated at 160 horsepower and mated to a three-speed manual transmission with synchromesh gears.

As impressive as its performance may have been, the LeBaron Runabout Speedster was equally about style. From its raked-vee windshield to its pontoon fenders (skirted in the rear) and impossibly long hood – visually longer thanks to the vents carried over to the cowl – the Packard looked like nothing else on the road. To keep the lines of the car unblemished, the top stowed beneath a metal body panel when not in use. Despite the attention to detail shown by the factory, most owners requested a further degree of customization, meaning that no two Model 1106 Speedsters are identical.

It may seem odd to say we were looking for trees in the forest but that's exactly what we did today. It was a gorgeous winter morning - cold, with intermittent sun, and a fresh snowfall. A perfect day to get outside and capture a scene with an eye to a new (to us) editing technique in Photoshop.

Even better - it's local, so we could be here within the confines of the current lockdown.

There is one wall in Swansea where it's legal to make spray art, and this is it. I came across this young man making a very big statement across the length of it. It faces a car park. Well done!

... even though it's nice outside,

don’t venture out during the lockdown!

Inspired by my father-in-law's love of lager: today is my parents-in-law's 50th (Golden) wedding anniversary. Instead of a family meal, we're all celebrating separately. If I know my father-in-law he'll be enjoying a few of these right now...

Day 6 — Stay Home, Stay Healthy!

Next in the series of things I wouldn’t have seen if I hadn’t been home for the coronavirus quarantine. I just planted a couple new bushes that I thought might attract hummingbirds this spring. This robin couldn’t wait for me to finish so he could pluck all the earthworms from the loose soil. What an opportunist.

Vielen Dank an alle die mich mit Ihrer Stimme beim Fotowettbewerb unterstützt haben.

Ich habe den ersten Platz belegt.

Looking at my own reflection

When suddenly it changes

Violently it changes

There is no turning back now

You've woken up the demon in me...
