Nice thought, but the visual is overdone. Seriously, it's ultimately very hard to read and impossible to search. Why is it in Flash? I don't get it.

33 Painfully True Facts About Everyday Life
Danish writer Mikael Wulff and cartoon artist Anders Morgenthaler
the creative duo known as 'Wumo' has created a brilliant series
of graphs that illustrate some of the basic painful truths of
everyday life in the Western world.
Their graphs and diagrams are snarky and sarcastic but, for the
most part, true. This, coupled with their simple and official-looking
design, makes them a delight to look at.
Wulff and Morgenthaler share these images on Wumo

Working with our partners, Medical Relief and Education International, we recently held a pediatric clinic and educational classes on children's health.
Over two and a half days we saw 616 children in the clinic and provided health education to 357 adults. This education focused on keeping children healthy and what to do if your child becomes ill.
Information provided included basic nutrition, common illnesses which can be treated at home, how to treat those illnesses, and how to recognise illnesses which could be life threatening and must be seen by a doctor.
Neither the clinic nor the classes would have been possible without the effort put in by the ambitious group of medical students and medical professionals who took it upon themselves to organise their trip to help Haiti.
Thanks so much to all those who gave either time, resources, or funding, with an extra special thank you to Nova Southeastern University for sending their highly capable medical students.

January 8, 2019 - "Masada was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2001. Its inscription on this prestigious list epitomizes its outstanding universal significance, which must be protected for the benefit of humanity.
Masada was the last bastion of Jewish freedom fighters against the Romans; its fall signaled the violent destruction of teh kingdom of Judea at the end of the Second Temple period. The traffic events of the last days of the rebels at Masada transformed it into both a Jewish cultural icon and a symbol of humanity's continuous struggle for freedom from oppression.
Built by Herod, king of Judea , Masada was a palatial fortress in the style of the ancient Roman East. The camels, fortifications, and assault ramp at its base constitute the most complete surviving ancient Roman siege system in the world.
Geography
The plateau of Masada is located on the eastern fringe of the Judea Desert near the shore of the Dead Sea, between En Gedi and Sodom. It is a mountain block that rose and was detached from teh fault escarpment, surrounded at its base by Wadi Ben yard on the west and Wadi Masada on the south and east. The plateau, 450 meters above the level of the Dead Sea, is approximately 650 meters long and 300 meters wide. East of the mountain is sediment left by the ancient Dead Sea, scored by numerous cracks.
Masada is close to two ancient routes: one cut through the center of the Judea Desert and led to southern Moab in eastern Transjordan; the other connected Edom, Moab and the Arava Valley to En Gedi and Jerusalem.
Masada's remote location and its natural defenses were the advantages that transformed it into a fortress during the Second Temple period."

I find this (just slightly) remarkable. It's been MONTHS since I put up any photos on "Kennuth's"
(it was a protest against changes in the Flickr layout), and yet people are apparently still looking
at it. In fact, there've been two single-day view records set in October. Kennuth's topped
1000 views, for the first time, on the first of October. Then, on the 22nd, it hit an amazing
peak of 1706! Unfortunately, I have no idea as to how Ultrachool's is doing by comparison.
It's beyond me why Flickr can't offer full stats as an option for new accounts. I suspect a
lot of people might even be willing to pay a little extra for it.

I'm at the tail end of my English Language & Literature degree and that means, Business Statistics.
If anyone can explain why I need to know Statistics to be a succesful English major, please do. This is the face of a girl that has been glancing at the enormous book and the list of 11 problems she has to do for hours. I suppose it's time to get to it. Happy Saturday Night to me! This is my life after all..
