Somehow I've wound up as a guinea pig for a mad scientist. Again. Oh well, guess I'm going to take a nap. For a few hundred years ...
It means the "bus stop" tom cat! I used to meet him for a long time in the same place: under the bus stop of the old neighbourhood.
A shot ive gone for before but without the benefit of the fog from the weekend. Groynes and the like are ten a penny along the estuary where i live but the atmosphere and mood that fog lends lent the mundane a little extra life. I went for the square crop as the image felt balanced. The 'horizon' line is a deeper patch of water around 50m out. normally you can easily see the kent coast from here. Thanks for looking :-)
Another version of this shot that is a bit sharper as a result of a shorter exposure. I like that the motionless girl is sharper in this version, but prefer the blurrier movement of the other people in the first capture.
