A view of our cozy (read: very small) room at Hotel Borgo del Mare in Civitavecchia. This is the view from the bed, facing the desk, narrow wardrobe, and flat-screen TV. The hotel has three room categories: junior, standard, and superior. They only had standard rooms available when we booked; the cost was €120/night, including breakfast, WiFi, and transfer to the pier. We saw a superior room across the hall (the housekeeper was cleaning it when we arrived at our room); the room appeared a bit larger and had a lovely view of the sea. While our room was rather small and basic, it was perfectly adequate for a one-night stay. The bed was comfortable, and we slept well after our red-eye flight! (I don't recall our room number, but it was located on the upper floor at the far end of the hallway, on the left side.)
I was away in Kansas visiting my fiance Manny. Wesley stayed at doggie camp- I got home this morning and picked him up this afternoon. Wesley was very happy to see me- gave me hugs and kisses! He is such a good boy and I am so lucky to have him!
Manny will be here to visit us in early July for one week, I can't wait for Wesley to meet his Daddy.
