Old bikes formed a special class at Piston Poppers Raceway (Sep 7th). These are not to be underestimated - nice running machines.
With all the other standout features of the White-headed Stilt it could have been called almost anything and still been immediately recognisable. Even backlit by light reflected from a setting sun this is an attractive subject for a bird portrait.
