The standout event of the day in the US was undoubtedly the Total Solar Eclipse. This rare occurrence was a once-in-a-lifetime spectacle. Regrettably, I wasn't fully prepared. Fortunately, my children came to the rescue with solar glasses they received from school. With just my iPhone, I managed to capture this single shot, albeit heavily cropped. Thankfully, I did shoot the image in RAW format. Behold the result!

In downtown Kendallville, IN, this building stands alone in it's design. It seems to jump right off the block, as nothing else downtown has such architecture. Too bad the aquarium place decided to paint their section so oddly, but it's good to see the whole building in use.
