In my last posting I mentioned Stained Glass and Jerome made a comment about seeing some of it so here is a sample. This particular piece was made by Bob and hangs in our bathroom. Since it shows a Heron I thought it would be an appropriate one to post. We started doing stained glass a number of years ago and have have made numerous pieces that are hanging in our house and that have been given for wedding and Christmas gifts to family and friends. We also gave beginner lessons at the local college for a few years. Presently the stained glass is taking a back seat to birding but it is always a nice relaxing hobby to return to.

My neighbour across the road has this lovely stained glass window on her stairs.

 

Her house probably predates mine by a few years, maybe about 1913 ish.
