“The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane.” ― Marcus Aurelius
Another old photo I'd lost that a friend just retrieved from a hard drive somewhere.
Stained glass from what is perhaps to most progressive, inclusive church I've ever been in. Granted, I was only in it once, when the Turtle Creek Chorale, and Women's Chorus of Dallas performed there in support of the church's ongoing inclusive outreach to the LGBTQ+ community here in Austin.
Part of the Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail which we walked last weekend. This has to be the best time in the Forest, so green and brimming with wild flowers.

This work of stained glass was made for me by my uncle Cees Schmit sr. in 1978 , as a wedding gift.
Schoolmeester means teacher ; that's my profession. When it needed restauration last year , my nephew Cees Schmit jr. did the job and he added the little pieces of glass around the edges , as a personal touch. Now Cees jr. is retired and his son has taken over business.

Overhead view.
Thank you for taking the time to view my photo, and for the faves and comments you make, thank you.
As usual in Chichester Cathedral after a lunch time concert (Beethoven and Schumann this week) I had a wander with my camera as for me, this is the most beautiful cathedral I have ever visited. This stained glass window is in the south transept.
On the side of a Queenslander home. This caught my eye as it was very similar to a window at a relative's home, memories of my childhood.
