I had the opportunity to do some of the photography for the San Francisco Scottish Fiddlers concert at Holy Names University in Oakland. The group always puts on a great show and Alasdair Fraser brings out the best in them.
This is all available light photography, shot at very high ISOs (around 6400),

Kari Bremnes beaming on stage. She's a Norwegian artist who has been releasing records sine the late 80s, and I love her music. It's been a dream of mine to both meet her and/or photograph er. This June I managed to do both. So thank you, Skyhøyt i Fjæra festival!

I took this during intermission at a concert of the LA Guitar Quartet at the Herbst Theater in San Francisco last night. We moved to some empty front row seats for the second half of the performance and I was glad to have my little Canon G12 in my pocket when I saw this fun POV:)
