PRIDE day in Jackson Heights.
* A performer on an outdoor stage at an LGBTQ+ Pride-related event based on the rainbow-themed backdrop and audience attire.
* The performer is wearing an elaborate floor-length red gown with rhinestone or crystal embellishments, oversized sculptural sleeves, matching gloves, and dramatic stage makeup.
* The open mouth and posture suggest singing, lip-syncing, or delivering a dramatic performance.
* Audience members in the foreground are watching and photographing the performance.
* The backdrop includes rainbow colors and signage reading “King of Queens,” suggesting the event is taking place in Queens, New York.
Description
The image captures a highly theatrical moment during a live performance. The vivid red costume dominates the frame and contrasts strongly with the multicolored background. The performer is centered, creating a formal stage portrait, while the audience and stage crew provide context and scale.
As a photograph
* Strong central composition.
* Excellent color contrast between the red costume and rainbow background.
* The audience at the bottom helps convey the event atmosphere.
* The peak expression (mouth open, dramatic pose) adds energy and narrative interest.
Onion 'Long Red Florence' (Heirloom/Heritage Variety)
A deep purple onion.
Much sweeter than their green counterpart, these beauties will turn into the much prized Tropea red onions when fully grown. Spring is a wonderful time of the year to make the most of their refreshing, purple-red torpedo shaped bulbs with a mild sweet, intense yet delicate flavour. Try them in salads of course, or in a crudités platter to fully enjoy them.
Here I used 'stage-light', and it looks as though they have stage-fright? LOL
Thanx for your time and comments, greatly appreciated, M, (*_*)
