It's hard to put into words just how many fireworks go off on new years eve in Reykjavik.
I tried anyway. I guess this is another attempt at conveying that feeling.
12 images, taken using the trusty GorillaPod, stacked in Photoshop to show maximum light levels and highlight just how many fireworks were hitting the city skyline.
Pretty cool train, I really loved the uniformity of it, plus its slow speed gave me plenty of time to play with the containers.

BNSF w/b stacks (Maersk)
I rode around Lake Fairlee today - I stopped on a small, private road to admire a house there and saw this stack of resawn wood stacked to dry. Wonder what it's for.

Inspired by the colors of my new cardigan. Probably won't end up being anything but it's always nice to play with fabric.
Oktoberfest at Steel Stacks in Bethlehem, PA. What a great afternoon-the awesome Stacks setting, lots of wurst and beer, wiener dog races, funky scarecrows, and best of all-we all got to try out an alpine horn (and think about the old Ricola commercials). To my delight I managed to blow for 22 seconds and got a certificate.

These bricks are part of the restroom at Seward Park. Real bricks, not an overlay. The area it is in was dedicated in 1960 but it would appear that the bricks have been tuck pointed more recently than that.

I just love this quilt... it's made from my favourite line of fabrics, Moda 1974, and I got the scraps from Dana of Old Barn Co. I was inspired by a quilt Tula Pink made, and I named it Stacked because my husband thought they look like tall stacks of books :)
