I decided to play around with focus stacking. This image was made from 6 hand-held shots of a writing spider. I can see where this technique is going to open new worlds for me.

I thought they stacked well with my stone stackers too. Add some color in with the metal.

Was trying to find something to photograph yesterday because it was rainy and I couldn't get out. Went into the spare room and saw some stacks of cds that I've had for 2 years but haven't used. The lighting I used was the room's overhead lighting and then my halogen desk lamp.

I spent a week near the coast at Findhorn. It's a photographer's paradise there with an absolutely amazing bit of coastline. You won't see too many shots since my family were there too and didn't have a lot of patience for the 10 stopper coming out!

This is one of the sea stacks near Burghead. It's maybe not that obvious but that hole underneath goes right through - it's all very impressive.
