Canon EF 100mm f2.8 Macro is not an easy lens. The shallow DoF on this lens makes it hard to frame shots. At this time I am not sure if I have received a soft lens.

Haven't yet found the time to complete the Beyond Layers assignment of photographing favorite books...but thought this older photo I took a couple of months ago would also communicate my love of old books...
