A massive stack of Bawls cans and Dominos pizza boxes tower above the line during the wait to get into the BYOC from the FCFS line.
PS: I'm at the BYOC - far right side of C4 near the MAME Cabinet if anyone wants to drop by and say "o hi".
A stack of chairs outside Mortons on Byres Road. Mortons is a fantastic little cafe and its pretty cheap too - if they scrapped the expensive wifi it would be perfect for my pre-lecture coffee.

306.366: So I've heard about focus stacking before when I've seen other people publish their macro shots. But I never really looked into how to do it. I took a stab at it tonight but didn't have the success I thought I would have so I will definitely be trying it again. I ended up having to re-layer and blend some of the composite frames to make it more crisp. Maybe I missed a focal length and CS6 couldn't blend it together properly. I'm not really sure. But I liked it enough to share with you all.
Thoughts? Suggestions?

This was taken from a footbridge in the High Line Park in NYC.
The steward was ushering people on so as not to clog up the gangway, but the view of this car park was on one side and a panoramic view of the High Line was on the other so photographers weren't really listening.
I was up at Pathings Art Centre and noticed these chairs stacked. Thought it might make a good abstract. Luckily Pete Zab www.flickr.com/photos/petezab/ was around to give me instruction on how to turn it into a Zabstract

--stack poems are composed of stacked up book titles. A little challenging and a lot of fun; a good project for when you're organizing shelves.

A small sugar ant composite based on 30 individual photos; its my first image using my diy automatic macro machine
The machine essentially moves the camera in very small increments via a stepper motor and takes a picture at each position. Its all controlled over USB using some hardware and software I built myself.
The individual pictures are stacked together in software to obtain a sharp output image.

Cox's Stack is an 85m (282 ft) high chimney in the Lochee area of the city and one of the remaining relics of Dundee's once buoyant jute industry. It was constructed in 1866 and formed part of the Cox Brothers' Camperdown Works, one of the largest jute factories of its time. Modelled on an Italian campanile, the Stack was designed by local architect James MacLaren.

I got myself to the Austin Public Library to try and find some books on interior design. We need some help figuring out how best to arrange our furniture in this new house.
I love the library. This is a really nice one; much nicer than the main library in Oakland. I plan to spend time here, when I can.
Also got myself a few books to read, including Monstrous Regiment, by Terry Pratchett.
