Connect with top investors and cloud experts who have done it and been there. Learn how they did it. Discover the fundamental concepts that are key to building a world-class server stack.
Stacking images is challenging. First, a subject that stands still, then focusing at different distances. Thats the hard part. If the fly doesn't move and you can see that subtle change in focus, you might get something. Four images ... Canon T2i, Canon EF 100mm macro f2.8 L, Zerene Stacker, Lightroom 5.

A Photoshop of an old smoke stack across from the Helme Snuff Factory in Helmetta, NJ. It's a little off because it was a dark shot and in the original picture you really couldn't make out any detail of the building at all, the sun only lit the clouds. I decided to darken the sky to try to match the dark building a bit, plus I like the blue anyway. I also decided to leave the trees a silhouette because they were very grainy from enhancing the light.

South Stack is famous as the location of one of Wales' most spectacular lighthouses, South Stack Lighthouse. It has a height of 41 metres (135 feet). It has a maximum area of 7 acres.
Until 1828 when an iron suspension bridge was built, the only means of crossing the deep water channel on to the island was in a basket which was suspended on a hemp cable. The suspension bridge was replaced in 1964, but by 1983 the bridge had to be closed to the public, due to safety reasons. A new aluminium bridge was built and the lighthouse was reopened for public visits in 1997. Thousands of people flock to the lighthouse every year, thanks to the continued public transport service from Holyhead's town centre.
There are over 400 stone steps down to the footbridge (and not, as local legend suggests, 365), and the descent and ascent provide an opportunity to see some of the 4,000 nesting birds that line the cliffs during the breeding season. The cliffs are part of the RSPB South Stack Cliffs bird reserve, based at Elin's Tower.
The Anglesey Coastal Path passes South Stack, as does the Cybi Circular Walk. The latter has long and short variants; the short walk is 4 miles long and takes around two hours to complete. Travelling from the Breakwater Country Park, other sites along the way are the North Stack Fog Signal station, Caer y Tŵr, Holyhead Mountain and Tŷ Mawr Hut Circles.
From Wikipedia:
London Arch is a natural arch in the Port Campbell National Park, Australia. The arch is one of the tourist attractions along the Great Ocean Road near Port Campbell in Victoria. This stack was formed by a gradual process of erosion, and until 1990 formed a complete double-span natural bridge.
The arch closest to the shoreline collapsed unexpectedly on 15 January 1990, leaving two tourists stranded on the outer part: they were rescued by a helicopter. Fortunately nobody was injured in the event. Prior to the collapse, the arch was known as London Bridge because of its similarity to its namesake.
When Civil War regiments paused on a march they might stack arms. Each stack would be comprised of the rifles of "comrades in arms," which would consist of four men.

These were stacked up during a backpacking trip along the South Fork of the Skokomish River. The whole thing was probably 3-4 feet tall. It was shot in black and white to make it extra arty!

My camera got broken 2 night earlier and so I can't zoom in on the screen to focus at night, which means that these shot were likely going to be out of focus. But I've got some experience under my belt, so I increased the ISO and stopped down the aperature to maximize depth of field and then guessed on the focus, and guess perfectly as it turns out :D The lightning was so consisten and consistently good, it was like shotting fish in a barrel, but it would've been AMAZING if I could zoom in :/
Larry started stacking the cordwood so that it can dry out before we store it in the house. He cleared a path first so that I can access one of the flower beds.
Getting a good look at this small snapping turtle through a long telephoto lens. (Blended stack of 10 images.)
Practice focus stacking on microscope pix I took with my microscope, my Canon T4i Rebel camera, a 15 dollar macro tube and a 30 dollar DSLR-to-microscope adapter.
This was my first try stacking. Hope to get better at this.
Also the one of the stuffed animals is practicing bokeh while everyone is asleep. lol.
