The original photo is in color, but I wanted to add a cold atmosphere. That day, DC was chilly and windy - had a taste of winter.
元はカラーなんですが寒空の感じを出したかったのでモノクロにしてみました.良い感じに雲も出ていたし.

I'm enjoying drawing. It really helps me relax.
I don't have many photos to post because when I went out this past weekend I took my film camera, not my digital and I have to finish the roll of film and try to find someplace to develop it. Ah, the joys if film!!! Not.. :)
Happy Wednesday, all.
Down in Cornwall at the moment. Went to Zennor to find some water that I could try to smooth with an ND400 filter, but forgot to bring the correct step adapter. Doh! So I took about 20 regular shots at high speed and merged them. The camera was hand-propped on the railing of a bridge - so a little image re-alignment was needed (using Hugin) before the partial transparency merge. I just wish I had a slightly wider angle lens for this - which is now on my wishlist.
Sea stacks at sunset near Point of the Arches along the Olympic Coastline. I used a 30s exposure to smooth out the rough water.
Stack Rock Fort was constructed between 1850 and 1852 to protect the waterway. It was originally designed for two decks of artillery casements, but only the first floor was completed and used as a gun deck.
My second attempt at focus stacking. Twelve photos this time. I think it looks better, but still see room for much improvement.
I'm manually adjusting the focus for each shot. It ends up requiring some guesswork. I can see where a focus rail could be a lot more accurate.
A yacht had anchored overnight just off the popular cove at Kynance. Just about got by on the low level path across the shingle as the tide was only just heading out.
This one is made from stack and stacks of leaves.
Oak, Maple, Dogwood, Sumac, 1 torn up marigold and 1 impatient flower.
The green goddess that is nature is providing lots of foliage this year!
Happy Mandala Monday !!
Stack rocks, Merrion, Pembrokeshire. The cliffs here are the choice for many nesting sea birds. Guillimots predominate on Stack rocks.
The conference uses about 50 laptops between the computer lab and other operations. We sell them all at the end of the summer.
As the sun goes down all the sunloungers on deck are folded and secured for the night, seen onboard MSC Musica.
Bosco was out for a morning run at the conservation area but Martin took a few minutes to stack Bosco. He had Bosco hold the stack for a minute and then released him to enjoy his run. Stacking Bosco in a variety of locations helps with Bosco's comfort level and helps us to fit in stacking practice during our busy day. Bosco's handler side rear leg should be pulled forward (towards his ummmm.... willie) just a tad. It's hard to tell in the wheat.
Bosco has a bit more muscle definition in his hind end since we've been running him up and down a steep hill to fetch his tug several evenings per week.
