I was going to write an introduction about these majestic animals that resemble Bisons but are a different species.
There was quite a lot of text to read. The gist is: it does look like the American Bison but it isn't the same animal.

Those pictures were obviously not shot in the wild but while visiting an animal park (kind of a zoo but just showing local animals).

Last weekend spent two days in Springe, a lovely small town at the bottom of the hills called 'Deister'
The Deister is a chain of hills in the German state of Lower Saxony, about 15 mi (25 km) southwest of the city of Hanover.
The chain is well-wooded and abounds in game, and the beautiful weather attracted me for a long walk.

Ãœbernachtung im Hotel zum Grafen Hallermundt in Springe
Nach Stillegung des Rheinkalk Werkes in Salzhemmendorf im Jahr 2017 gibt es auf der VzG 1820 zwischen Elze und Hameln keinen planmäßigen Güterverkehr mehr. Gelegentlich "verirren" sich verschiedene Sonderleistungen auf die Strecke oder wie in diesem Fall, sorgen Bauarbeiten auf der Strecke Hameln - Weetzen für gelegentlichen Güterverkehr.
So auch am Freitag den 12.06.2020, als die Hamelner Übergabe wegen einer zum Abend beginnenden Totalsperrung auf der zuvor genannten Strecke den Umweg über Elze nehmen musste.
Gegen 19:15 verließ der mit 261 029 bespannte und als ER 62997 bezeichnete Zug den Bahnhof Elze und wurde dabei kurz hinter Elze im Bild festgehalten.
