The district court of Hanover is a regional court in the judicial state district of Hanover. The District Court in 2002 had a total of 710 employees, including 104 judges and 97 judicial officers.
Affiliation
The Judicial State District Hannover includes six municipal courts, among them in addition to the district court of Hanover, the municipal courts in Burgwedel, Hameln, Neustadt am Rübenberge, Springe and Wennigsen (Deister).
Jurisdiction
The judicial circuit of the district court Hannover includes the City of Hannover and the neighboring cities Hemmingen, Laatzen, Langenhagen, Seelze. The Hanover court thus has about 750,000 persons permanently resident in this geographical jurisdiction. The higher court is the Regional Court Hannover.

The District Court was founded in 1852 as part of the "Great judicial reform" in the Kingdom of Hanover. It was as a city court initially only responsible for the city of Hanover but was already in 1856 merged with the District Court which was responsible for the county Hannover. 1859, the district court Langenhagen was incorporated. Throughout its more than 150-year history, the district court was housed in different buildings: In 1888 it moved from Reden'schen Palais in which it was housed since 1852 to the newly built "Old Court House", also called justice palace that was in the Second World War completely destroyed. However, since never in its existence sufficient facilities have been available, departments of the court moved into buildings that were additionally rented in Hanover downtown. Relaxation brought only in 1985 a new building on the neighboring plot. 1977 was carried out by the right-wing Paul Ernst Otte, who was also an undercover agent of the secret service, a bomb attack on the district court of Hanover. The attack fell in a series of attacks respectively attack attempts on border installations in the GDR, trucks in transit traffic to Berlin, the Jewish Community Center in Hannover, the District Attorney Flensburg.

Das Amtsgericht wurde 1852 im Zuge der „Großen Justizreform“ im Königreich Hannover gegründet. Es war als Stadtgericht zunächst nur für die Stadt Hannover zuständig, wurde jedoch schon 1856 mit dem Amtsgericht, das für den Landkreis Hannover zuständig war, zusammengelegt. 1859 wurde das Amtsgericht Langenhagen eingegliedert. Im Laufe seiner über 150-jährigen Geschichte war das Amtsgericht in verschiedenen Gebäuden untergebracht: Im Jahr 1888 zog es vom Reden’schen Palais, in dem seit 1852 untergebracht war, in das neu erbaute „Alte Justizgebäude“, auch Justizpalais genannt, das im Zweiten Weltkrieg vollkommen zerstört wurde. Da jedoch zu keiner Zeit des Gerichts ausreichend Räumlichkeiten zur Verfügung standen, bezogen Abteilungen des Gerichts von Anfang an zusätzlich angemietete Gebäude in der hannoverschen Innenstadt. Entspannung brachte erst 1985 ein Neubau auf dem Nachbargrundstück. 1977 wurde durch den rechtsradikalen Paul Ernst Otte, der auch V-Mann des Verfassungsschutzes war, ein Bombenanschlag auf das Amtsgericht Hannover durchgeführt. Der Anschlag fiel in eine Reihe von Anschlägen, bzw. Anschlagsversuchen auf Grenzanlagen in der DDR, Lastwagen im Transitverkehr nach Berlin, das jüdische Gemeindehaus in Hannover, die Amtsanwaltschaft Flensburg.

Leider eines von 5Fotos das ich von diesem schönen Tier machen konnte, da in just dem Moment wo ich dort war und der Luchs aus seinem Versteckt kam, kam auch ne Horde nichtgeräuscharmer jungen Menschen.
