"Der Blaue Pfau (Pavo cristatus) ist eine Vogelart aus der Familie der Fasanenartigen (Phasianidae). Er gehört somit zur Klasse der Hühnervögel, wobei der Blaue Pfau neben dem Fasan und dem Haushuhn der bekannteste Vertreter dieser Rasse ist.
Aufgrund ihres auffälligen Aussehens gelten vor allem die Männchen als die ältesten Ziervögel der Menschen. Bereits in den Sagen der griechischen Antike wurden sie erwähnt. Kulturlandschaft Wald
In diesem Projekt beschäftige ich mich mit der Beziehung zwischen Mensch und Natur. Als Experimentierfeld dient mir der Deister, Deutschland nördlichstes Mittelgebirge. Durch seine vorchristliche Besiedelung an den Südhängen die über Jahrhunderte genutzte Resource Wald bis hin zur heutigen Nutzung für den Tourismus, bedingt durch die Nähe zu Hannover, bietet dieses 20 x 4 km lange Areal ein spannende Bilderwelt. Ziel ist es, den dramaturgischen Bogen zwischen Eingriff des Menschen, topographische Parameter des Geländes und die abstrakte gewachsene Identität dieses Waldes in harmonischer, auch melancholischer Stimmumg wiederzugeben. In Panoramafotoss auf 6 x 12 cm Negativfilm setze ich dieses im Stile der dokumentarischen Fotografie um. Es erscheint mir der sinnvollste Weg über den Detailreichtum die dem Medium Film innewohnt und eine erfahrbare Grösse im fotografischen Abzug einschliesst, den Betrachter zu Fragen über seine persönliche Beziehung zu Wald zu ermutigen bzw. ein vorhandenes Bild vom unberührten Wald auf subtile Art zu entkräften.
Alle Bilder sind erstmal Rohscans da die Arbeit alle Jahreszeitenbeinhalten soll bzw. erst die Hälfte des Weges beschritten ist. Über Kommentare jeder Art würde ich mich sehr freuen.
