Less than three weeks until Pitchers and Catchers report to Spring Training. As you can see by these photos, I cannot wait. And speaking of Pitchers, Bob Gibson was one of my favorites when I was a kid growing up in the Midwest. A great quote about Gibson came from his longtime catcher Tim McCarver: “Bob Gibson is the luckiest pitcher I ever saw. He always pitches when the other team doesn’t score any runs.”
