If you're reading this, then you know that I travel. A lot. One of the perks of that arrangement however is that when I'm not called to be on the road, I can work from anywhere. While most of the time that's in my man cave in the basement of my home, sometimes, just sometimes, that location is the far away magical land called, Omaha.
Marna and I, Paige, and the Embassy Suites downtown spent a week in Omaha during Paige's kindergarten Spring break 2010. Yeah, she's not quite ready to party in Cancun - that's October. While I spent most of the week working in the hotel room - it wasn't vacation for me, just a different office setting - Paige and Marna had various events throughout the week.
As you might imagine, a good portion of those activities involved family. There was some swimming in there as well. And even the errant trip to the Omaha Children's Museum. From the stories after the trip, I'd say that the Omaha Children's Museum rates pretty high. Giant bubbles. Pulleys and swings. A carousel. Painting. A construction zone, as you can see above, and much more.
Random nostalgia...
I recall taking Paige to the Denver Children's Museum what seems like forever ago, with the San Jose Children's Museum being only slightly more recent, and I even the Orlando Children's Museum somewhere in there. I wonder what the next one will be?
