So I've managed to get all of the Skull Shores Gals! Missing Gill, been looking for him everywhere! I love all the colors these girls are giving! Hopefully everyone has a good spring break! Mine starts on the 9th. :) I also wanted to create a spring feel to the photo, hopefully that shows too. ;3

Looks like a typical Central Valley spring storm is clearing up as an SP crane move takes the connector from Santa Fe to Southern Pacific at Stockton, CA; observed during one of my trips home from Texas. Santa Fe Stockton Tower is behind me to my left. The diamond under the gondola is a crossing with the connector between Santa Fe and UP's former Western Pacific main. Of course, most of the railroad elements in this scene are now gone, except for BNSF's ex-Santa Fe trackage.
This pastoral scene is a little misleading. Our cows decided the grass was greener on the neighbors side of the fence. They're happy but the neighbors aren't!
After a rough few weeks of work, I'm determined to get some dolly things done....this crochet project was first on my list. I hope to finish it late tonight.
Here's hoping it turns out how I hope it will!

Will life ever get back to normal? Some college students celebrate Spring break in spite of our present reality. I understand the pressures to do so, but it seems selfish under the conditions of the pandemic.

Not the very greatest poetry ever written, but it always comes to my mind when I see spring blossoms.
The colored nightlights and the ice at the base of Niagara Falls adds other dimensions to what is normally one of the world's wonders. Niagara Falls as viewed from Niagara Falls, ON., Canada.
And the lighting here adds drama to one of the most dramatic waterways in the world- the Horseshoe Falls. Niagara Falls.

Happy Friday everyone! Just one last throwback shot to get those spring break ideas flowing. This is an early morning panorama from Bryce Canyon. This one may be a little busy for spring break but dispersed camping is available on BLM land outside the park. Sunrise shots of the amphitheater are amazing and then you can hike down into the canyon to get up close with the hoodoos. A dirty little secret to avoiding crowds in national parks: Most visitors never get more than a mile away from the main road. Go for a hike. Enjoy nature. Escape the crowds. Have a wonderful time!

Spring Break Bratz!! They always seemed to have a beach themed collection each year or so. I think this was one of the last beach ones before the Bratz went buh-bye. I used different heads on the girls (except for Jade, I think) because theu had some awful-AWFUL hair. I liked how they were dressed differently from each other. Yas was pretty-princessy in pink, I added a cowboy hat to Cloe to keep with the fact that she's a Texan, Sasha of course was heavily involved with the metallics, and Jade rocked the hot pink and black vinyl ala James Bond. Soo cute!
