Mr Stripey settled down to watch his favourite TV program - Springwatch!
It's like humans watching food programs!
Not as tasty as peking duck :p.
If what I have read is right, there are less that 7000 nesting pairs of these birds in the UK, and we're proud to have one of of those pairs :). They are incredibly timid though, and won't join the others when we put duck food out for the rest of the local residents.

Spring watch is a tv programme all about local wildlife and there flora and fuana with presenters chris packham and simon king and kate humble i was able to be at the springwatch event on southampton common and cadged the badge on the end of the lens and wanted to get the robin to stand next to it after several attemps and mealworms he finaly did it
Deck formerly used to house the temporary studio for the BBC's "Springwatch" programme when it filmed at the reserve, now in the process of being converted into a viewing platform.
