Ricordo il momento in cui ho scattato questa foto, al bordo strada, in una zona praticamente lontana da ogni rumore.
Il giallo brillante della colza illuminava il paesaggio, in modo quasi surreale, perchè il cielo incombeva con nuvole cariche di pioggia.
La primavera è colore e tempesta, luce e ombra.
Un equilibrio instabile tra la calma, la serenità e la frenesia, l'energia, il cambiamento.

On a day spent strolling through the shopping street, she allowed herself to indulge in life's pleasures, striking a balance between the material and spiritual realms. Spent the day teaching beta men, the value of respecting other's hobbies and embracing humility in the face of material pleasures they cannot always win.
Unfortunately, some betas seem to enjoy fighting and trying to prove that they are more important than other people's hobbies and material things. They view these things as their enemies and become extremely jealous when they feel like these things are taking away their dominas and attentions.
She doesn't find debating worthy of arguing with because, to her, it's like a dog barking at a cellphone. It's a pointless activity to her so she ignored to describe her likes.
It's just like a dog paces back and forth, fixated on the phone's screen. It appears to be trying to comprehend why the device is so captivating to its owners.
Then it decided to bark at a cellphone, dislikes and annoyed that the phone is receiving more attention from its owners. The furry creature's barks are loud and insistent, as if attempting to grab the humans' attention away from their digital devices.
It is forgivable and understandable when a dog barks at cellphones, but it is unacceptable for a person to fight and bark at other's hobbies and material pleasures.

Threatened by approaching storms, I managed to snag a picture of at least one new lifer bopping about in the trees before I had to make the 3/4 mile sprint back to my car.

Tiny yellow flowers stand in the grass like they own the place, which is funny because they look so fragile.
Look closer and you can see how serious they are about being alive, even if nobody asked them to perform this bright show. The green around them pretends to be just background, but it quietly holds everything together, like an invisible agreement.
It feels peaceful. Someone might say -
boring… But something inside me keeps insisting this small scene is important…
Perhaps there is nothing special, or this is exactly how quiet strength looks when it does not try to impress…

THe Cherryblossom park here in Amsterdam is in full bloom. It is close to my home so I have been there many times. It is always the challenge to find a new composition. Do you see the person chilling in the serenity of the park with the same position as the foreground tree? Very happy with this new angle.
