A ‘Claudia' Lily-Flowering Tulip photographed yesterday in the tulip gardens at Pella, Iowa. This very graceful variety has the timeless beauty and the strong color contrast of deep mauve and ivory in the majestic bloom. Although Pella’s annual tulip festival is a couple weeks away, most of the tulip gardens are in full bloom here.

This vibrant Eastern redbud tree is captured in full spring bloom, with clusters of tiny, brilliant magenta flowers covering its dark, textured branches. Deze zeldzame Beekrombout heb ik vorige week gefotografeerd in Brabant. Het was mooi weer en bij rivier de Beerze slopen er aardig wat van deze mooie libellen uit!
Frühling im Fokus: Eine einzelne Narzisse im sanften Licht, feine Strukturen, zarte Vergänglichkeit – ein stiller Moment voller Farbe und Ruhe.

In this photograph for the group "Smile on Saturday" I wanted to capture a vibrant and delicate arrangement of various flower petals and small daisies scattered across a white plate. The plate rests on a warm-toned wooden surface, providing a natural and grounding backdrop to the colourful display.
I wanted the composition to be quite artistic, with the petals and flowers seemingly placed intentionally to create a visually appealing mix of shapes and colours. There are deep magenta petals, bright white daisies with yellow centres, delicate purple and blue blossoms, and hints of orange. The way they are scattered gives a sense of natural beauty, as if they've gently fallen onto the plate.
To the left of the plate, a small cluster of daisies with their stems still attached lies on the wooden surface, suggesting they might be the source of the scattered blooms. The overall impression I aimed to give is freshness, fragility, and the simple beauty of nature's details. It almost feels like a still life capturing a fleeting moment of floral abundance. served up on a plate.
A tranquil narrowboat rests along a calm, tree‑lined canal, its warm ochre and black hull reflected gently in the still water. Finalmente posso guardare fuori, respirare il profumo dei fiori e divertirmi vedendo gli uccellini volare. La mammina mi ha detto che non è ancora prudente scoprirmi del tutto, così ho messo una sciarpina leggera che fa pandant con il giardino! 🎀
Dite che sono troppo vanitosa? Forse un pochino, ma con questo venticello fresco è meglio non rischiare... la mammina ha sempre ragione (ma non ditelo in giro! 😉).

I planned to capture these beautiful tulips in the last sunrays, that would've given warm hues for all of the photos. Finally I photographed them during or right after sunset, but without any backlight. These three multicoloured ones really deserved some limelight while the others made the backgroung ful of life.

On my first bike ride of the year, I spotted fresh apple blossoms against a bright blue sky. In the gentle blur, the boundaries between blossoms, light, and spring fade away. I took this photo for the “Boundaries Blur” theme of the Our Daily Challenge group.
